10 Steps To Open Your Burguesa Burger Restaurant
Step 1: Self Discovery of the Brand
If you have not eaten in one of our restaurants and are considering applying to become a franchisee, STOP! Please go to a Burguesa Burger restaurant and experience our food, our atmosphere, our service, and the way we conduct business. Once you have done this, go to step 2.
Step 2: Questions and Financial Statement
If you are already a fan of Burguesa Burger, please review the franchise information on this website and complete the franchise application and the personal financial statement forms; our management team will evaluate your responses to determine mutual compatibility and financial responsibility. The information you provide will be held in strict confidence. Submitting this form does not obligate you to Burguesa Burger Franchise Inc. in any way.
Step 3: Review and Initial Discussion
Upon receipt of your franchise application and personal financial statement forms, we will contact you to discuss our franchise opportunity in greater depth and address any additional questions.
Step 4: Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)
If your application reflects a cohesive attitude with our goals, and your financials show you are in a position to invest, we will send you our FDD. Our FDD is a mandated document by the Federal Trade Commission and the particular state in which your Burguesa Burger restaurant will be located. This document explains our opportunity in depth and should be reviewed by your attorney and CPA to clarify business terms and conditions. You may contact them to assist you in your research and in developing your business plan. Burguesa Burger personnel, or its agents, are not allowed by law to furnish you with financial projections, potential sales, earnings, earnings claims, or profitability projections.
Step 5: Discovery Day
You will spend one day at one or more Burguesa Burger locations to sample more of our delicious Burguesa Burger menu, meet some of our management team, and learn about our operation first-hand. You will watch how we greet guests, make burguesas, and run the operation. You will sit down with our CBO (Chief Burguesa Officer) and CPO (Chief Progress Officer) to discuss our vision and yours to determine if we can do business together. We can’t overstate the importance of compatibility. You are embarking on a big project, and we want to make sure you understand everything that’s involved.
Step 6: Franchise Agreement and Fee
Assuming we are right for each other, you will be awarded a franchise agreement. At that time, you pay your initial franchise fee.
Step 7: Location and Lease
Once Burguesa Burger Franchise, Inc. receives your executed franchise agreement and the required franchise fee, we will help you find a mutually acceptable restaurant location. When a location is identified, the lease negotiation process begins.
Step 8: Training
Next you will be scheduled for your one week in-casa training program at Academia Burguesa in Dallas.
Step 9: Open Your Burguesa Burger Restaurant
Once the construction or renovation is complete at your location, equipment is installed and the Burguesa Burger in-casa training is complete, you’re ready to open your own Burguesa Burger.
